Working alongside her family, Monalesia is thrilled to provide a valuable resource for families needing in-home care services

Our Story

Our founder, Monalesia Chapman, RN, Ph.D., is a Registered Nurse of 29 years, where specialty areas include Nursing Professional Development, Occupational Health, Home Healthcare, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Oncology, and Long-Term Care. She was inspired by her experience caring for her elderly parents, Shelley James and Dorothy Ann Harmon. Having to take time off from work and travel home to help as their caregiver, she realized the great need for compassionate care. She has prepared herself through education and decades of nursing experience.

The purpose of establishing Harmon Home Health Care was to respond to the needs of the elderly population by offering services that will help individuals avoid premature institutional care and continue living safely in their home setting for as long as possible. Harmon Home Healthcare is fully licensed and insured by the State of North Carolina.
